The new era arrived on Monday morning.
Say hello to
GMA in their new home at Hudson Square, located inside the Robert A. Iger Building in midtown Manhattan:
https://youtu.be/277sNJTcXfw?si=yZ8zltC1KtYSA0_rAs many people already know, it is the home to many ABC News programs--including
World News Tonight,
20/20, and the overnight show
World News Now.
The View, plus other syndicated shows and one of ESPN's popular morning shows
Get Up! with Mike Greenberg also call it home. WABC/ABC7 in New York airs their local news from there.
Sadly, the era of meeting fans outside the floor to ceiling windows ended on Sunday.
Here are their new neighbors, where there many cool restaurants--and a few sites where some movies took place

.
Also at the four minute mark, Ginger takes viewers inside the J Studio--their state-of-the-art exercise and training center:

Sex And The City, I am sure you will probably get hungry after looking at this segment:
https://youtu.be/r4Bsy6oeRPs?si=gB36Sa3K99-tcASkFinally, here is Ginger and most of the crew in the closest shot that I could find (their couch technically can fit up to 9 people.) She said on her Instagram that it is only the promo set--the real set has not been completed.

As for the weather maps, the only word I could think of is HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE.
It's at least 2 1/2 times wider than the old map.
It will be very interesting to see how they will blend in with everyone inside one complex, and what will also be during the third hour middays.
Finally, the crew did some cement handprints to mark their first day--ala what is seen at the Hollywood Walk of Fame (and they show the same segments that I touched on above.)
