someone told me they heard OReilly was going to leave because he wanted more time to write his books. weird. which would have likely meant that Megyn was going into OReilly's time slot

So it looks like Megyn will take Greta's spot in the lineup. I wonder who will take Megyn's. I wouldn't be surprised if they give it to Bill Hemmer but I hope they don't. Shannon Bream, Martha MacCallum and Alisyn Camerota are probably the frontrunners for the women. I know Gretchen wants the job, but Fox execs didn't want to give her her own show last year.

Shep joked with Megyn that they fired OReilly to make room for Megyn's new show, but OReilly needed the time to write more books anyway. Megyn thanked Shep for breaking the news to OReilly, no one had known how to tell him.
Then Megyn joked that her show was really going to be 8-11pm; Megyn ALL Evening!

It would be better then what it is now. The way it is now, I don't watch FNC between 8-11pm.

I thought Alysin did a very commendable job filling in for Megan yesterday. I liked her much better in that environment than with dumb and dumber.

I would hope they wouldn't move Martha to Megyn's show though. The leg chair on America Live is non-existent. Martha really got the better end of the deal when she took over Megyn's show last time.

The thing is no matter what time slot Megyn takes it's going to knock one of Fox's mainstays out and it's already been announced that she is going to primetime. So where's the shock? Unless it would be O'Reilly, I guess.
