Wide World of Women

The beautiful Anna Torv was the second guest on the Tonight Show, known obviously for her starring role on the FOX sci-fi series, Fringe. Quite a treat for me since this is my first time hearing her in her natural Australian voice and seeing her speak more like a regular woman rather than the more stiff and reserved Agent Dunham.

Some notes about the interview:
- some nice legshots
- the first quarter of the interview has Anna and Russell Crowe far more interested in talking with one another, leaving Jay to basically sit there by his lonesome. When Jay modestly complains, Russell tells him to go over to the bar and get him a drink
- she talks about Australia, the difficulty of doing an American accent and how often during ADR she has to re-say "anyway" until the ADR people can get one that sounds American enough for them to insert into the dialogue track
- she also talks about going to drama school, bedbugs, taking showers while trying to stay covered up from peering eyes, and getting her job with Fringe

Is it wrong that right after the interview was over, my first thought was... boy, I wish she'd do some real nudity? Aren't australians a lot less conservative than their American counterparts about nudity? I hold out hope...

I really wish she had pulled a Julie Bowen and wore none though... I was hoping for some good nude legshots when she walked out and was disappointed in that regard. Oh well, she looked great overall!
