BIG THANKS! Makes me wish I saved my old Beta tapes of her on Cnn Travel Guide. There was one where she was interviewing a barefoot water-skier that was unbelievable. Gone. Gone. Gone.

Well, don't find as much buried on old Beta and VHS tapes, but found this nice clip! She really knew how to wear a tight skirt. Man, if Hef had been smart, he would have offered all the babes at CNN 1 mil to pose nude. Perhaps just after they let go. That's what I would have done, if I was Hef! :TickTock

Missed clipping 10 seconds of Rhonda Shear at the end of this clip, but if you see it, I really don't think you will mind! :twisted:

I'd wondered what became of Valerie since the '90s, so did some digging...

There's at least a couple indications on the web that she got into a legal dispute with
CNN and left as a result of that. Link to the details:

Then, it seems Valerie & her hubby set off on a world-wide sailing trip starting in 2001,

And just 14 months or so later, another brief clip of Valerie on CNN!

Never noticed it before, but during this clip, more than half the time she turns her face completely away from the camera! Bet no meteorologist would be allowed to do that today....

And again it's been awhile, just found this on a betatape, that I almost didn't run to the end, and would have thrown this away!

Also saw doing a search on her name, that someone posted here , baadger ...some caps late last year...he also said, he had probably 50 hours of her, with a lot of travel guide shows!!!!! :Tounge

Of course, I just see this now....I would dearly love to see him put that stuff up, he is likely the only person out there with any real collection of her tv highlights...
