Various CNN Videos - Chetry, Bolduan, Harlow + Vid DL Links

I found a slick little program that splits .ts files without any re-encoding and put the Kiran Chetry video on Megaupload. After I work out a few kinks, simply splitting the raw files should make it easier to share videos than editing and transcoding them first (with a loss of quality). Let me know how this worked out. Thanks as always.

They were originally recorded as transport stream files. I encoded those in MPEG-2 and then uploaded them to YouTube. I put them on YouTube basically in an effort to make them more convenient to watch. If you want I can put the .mpg files on Rapidshare without much trouble.

It would nice to have the Kiran closeup vids in the highest quality format.. Assuming they're not 500MB files.

I don't think you'll notice much difference between the MPEG-2 files and what's on YouTube. The raw transport stream files are averaging a little over 100MB per minute, but you should notice a fairly significant improvement. I can use winrar to split the .ts files into chunks that Rapidshare will support, but they can be "jerky" during playback. Let me know. :Thumb

I second the request for the Kiran vids in highest quality. If you could Racefan, you'd be my HERO!!!

TS files usually play fine in VLC, so it would be great it you could just post them raw (split, obviously to get around the Rapidshare limit).

Same here racefan, I'd LOVE the highest quality possible, but would it be too much to ask for a Megaupload link? If you have an account on Rapidshare, that's perfectly fine, I won't complain, I just get great speeds with Megaupload. :blah

No problem gentlemen.. I'll shave down the .ts files and get them uploaded.. never tried megaupload but I'm in. Should have something by this weekend.
