Interesting comments by JB on Twitter regarding her not giving a damn whether the viewers care if she wears pants rather than a skirt. But I can't help but think there is a bit of hyprocrisy here. Sure I can imagine that does resent the fact many of her viewers only really care about what she wears and how she looks rather than being impressed with her intelligence and I certainly don't doubt that she is a highly intelligent woman. However, in common with virtually all the female anchors at Fox (and many of the male anchors too for that matter), I think it would be dishonest of her to pretend that she would have got in ahead of thousands of other equally intelligent contenders for the job if she had been ugly. Moreover, it is a fairly open secret that Fox's reputation as a "skirts" channel is a big hook for male viewers and since JB must know this full well, I think it is a bit churlish of her to object to receiving negative reactions when she does wear pants.
