Hey folks, I've been sitting here watching HSN for the past half hour or so. I know she has always been a bit on the "thick" side, but when did she really let herself go? She's wearing pants and I swear you can see either the outline of her spanx or she's wearing thigh highs. Girl has definately gotten big.

I notice she's been stuck in Johnny Cash mode lately wearing all black. A sure sign she's aware she has packed on the pounds.
But...

It's very odd since early last year, I think it was, she did one of the exercise shows in workout shorts and had mentioned that she had dropped 20lbs or so.

All I can say is I'm glad HSN has hired hosts that are showing leg to make up for the always in pants hosts like Connie, Shannon and now Chris.

I think she gained the 20lbs back

It seems that once she got married again, the pounds came back on.

Chris seemed to have got herself into really good shape just a few years ago, but it seems to me she started to gain it back maybe a year ago or so. A shame, because you could tell she had really worked at it.

That being said, I'd still hit it like a hanging curveball!

I see where you guys are coming from. On the last show, she kept pulling at her top, trying to conceal the rolls in her belly. But why wear such a tight top in the 1st place, Chris?

I think she slimmed down when she got remarried about a year and a half ago,but since then though she slowly gained it back. These days it seems like you don't know what you'll get when she's on. She was wearing a shorter dress and boots on a show with Suzanne Sommers last week and looked great. However, the next time she was on she looked quite frumpy.

I was wondering while watching, why she kept tugging on her sweater, and until you pointed that out, it had not dawned on me what she was trying to do. BTW thanks for the caps, and I still wouldn't throw her out of bed. I started this thread, so I would like it to be known that I still think she's attractive.

Show hosts have no guarantees that they'll be employed when their contract comes up for renewal. That's a lot of pressure on the older female hosts who see these cute younger girls coming in the door.

Chris hasn't looked fit since last summer IMO. She doesn't appear to be moving in that direction, as these caps illustrate. Fitz was absolutely right in that she's using every trick out there to appear slimmer- wearing black, tugging at her tops to smooth the bulges, hiding behind large tables and using her note cards and papers to hide what she doesn't like when she looks at the monitors.

Since she obviously is aware of her appearance and is not happy with it. I'm surprised that she doesn't take advantage of the exercise programs that the health and fitness vendors provide to HSN employees. Kathy Wolf, Callie Northagen and former plus-size queen Kelly Repassy all worked off pounds and stay toned with vendor programs.

Chris needs to rememeber that being a long-timer doesn't mean much, as Judy Crowell found out...

Pit Boss, great points, and it reminded me of something. When she was doing all the standups with the coat hanger lady ( I've seen her a million times and for the life of me can't remember her name) Chris had one HELL of a limp going on. She may be having some health issues, by the way she was moving around in that segment. Great points though, and sad but very true.

Judy Crowell really wasnt a long timer.most of her career was at QVC.she had no senority at HSN.
