Well guys, another year another forum split proposal.

As you all can see by visiting the North American Clip Forum, there is alot of content posted and replied to here. The Mods and Admins have come up with two proposals...

1. NA Newsbabes and NA Clips (everything else normally posted)

2. NA Newsbabes, Hispanic, and NA Clips (everything else normally posted)

If there is an alternate suggestion or you have any questions, please chime in. We are trying to keep this place user friendly. Thanks!

I like option 2. Three forums should be enough so there isn't stuff from yesterday buried on page 2.

The first option could work too because we could just split the Spanish news shows like PI into the newsbabe forum.

Maybe we should have Newsbabes and Talkshows
Hispanic and NA that way Talkshows and movies don't get mixed together
I am trying to get the movie scenes out of the original made clips

We'll have to see what is left after the original forum split proposal.

Another option is movie and TV clips with classic TV caps just like Shopping caps and clips

For me it's all about the amount of content. If we put the movie clips in with the caps forum it might get confusing for the people who don't visit all the time.

The N. American can include the movie caps without there being too much stuff in 1 forum, IMHO. We can see it when we start splitting, but we should have a format to begin with.

If you have movies together with talk shows
and someone fills page one with movie scenes then all your new Talk
will quickly go to page two

I don't think there's that much movie content posted though.

The same thing can happen in the Newsbabe forum with Fox babes shoving Amy Robach or other newsbabe to page 2. WHY? Members are not taking advantage of dedicated threads.

Will a Letterman,Leno and other talk show Sticky work

You start it and maintain it, it can become a sticky. You don't have to be the only person posting clips to thread only. Anyone can add clips to your thread as long as it fits the topic.

I mean can you make a sticky for each show so everyone posts their videos

I think a dedicated thread for each woman makes more sense then shows, but that's almost impossible. Dedicated threads should be something to do if people want to do it, not a format a a rule.

I say we do the initial 3 forums to see how it goes. If we see stuff from the yesterday is ending up on page 2 then we can try find a solution to that then.

We can do a Letterman sticky, Leno Sticky, etc. but it is the enforcement that is critical to this.

Reason why I keep harping on Enforcement is that we have NO ability with this forum to merge posts or topics into each other when newbies mispost. We only have the ability to split topics/posts.

Will there also be a Jeannie Bice forum?

We are going to split this forum according to proposal 2. Considering the HUGH amount of posts to go through, it may take us a couple of days to split out. However, that will not stop you from posting or replying in the new forums.
