host comings and goings

Dont know how much of this is true but read this on TV Without Pity:

Laurie Shore-leaving.....in Jan......

Re Laurie Shore, someone on the Q board received an email from Laurie in which she said she was leaving (last shift is 3-5 pm on Jan 4) in order to pursue some other ventures and spend more time with her family.

Veddy interesting. So they made Shawn a perm host and hired two more- any guesses on who else will be leaving? Wonder if Laurie leaving is her choice?

New QVC hosts:

Divinia and Gabrielle

One is from Wales and has an accent.....

Lori Leland took another job in broadcasting... she did get married recently so maybe her hubby had something to do with her leaving...

one of the new host is on now...Davinia, she has the accent, not sure, if its Wales, very attractive, haven't seen the other host yet

I saw the new host Gabrielle on the morning show, she's seems pretty cute, hopefully she will be like Shawn and like to show off her body. We have enough QVC women that dress like fat nuns.

Some of the other gals call her Laurie Snore.
You must admit she is really boring...She makes me want to buy something! Yeah Right!

Divinia Palmer was on with her mentor briefly last night (Jane Treacy) and looked good ... she has her own website (type her name in google)

Gabrielle Abiera (the other new host, Pat DeMentri is her mentor) comes from WBFF in Baltimore. There are a pic or two of her online and a few you tube videos from when she was a traffic reporter there. She left in Oct to join QVC.

I really believe Lori Leland`s husband made her leave HSN.There is no way HSN would have keap her on when they were down sizing and give her the morning slot.If they didn`t think she would not stick around.

Jane Rudolph Treacy as a mentor.. Well as long as this new chick doesn't take fashion or hairstyling advice from her. JRT looks like a small male elf. I think she had a couple scenes in the movie "Fred Clause"..

Word going around is that MAry Beth is going to be part time only and with LAurie Shore leaving, QVC needed some new "blood"...
