She's very cute. Not that many women look great with hair that short, but it looks great on Samantha.

What happened to Kelly?

Not sure if she is replacing anyone.

Weather Channel Hires Georgia Native Mohr
KPIX-TV Veteran Joins 'Weekend View' Team

Samantha Mohr, the former chief meteorologist for KPIX-TV in San Francisco, has been hired as on-camera meteorologist at The Weather Channel. She can be seen with Dao Vu and Bill Keneely on Weekend View, airing 7-11 a.m. ET on weekend days.

At KPIX-TV, Mohr won an Emmy in 2004 for “Best Weathercast in Northern California,” which included a report on the San Francisco fog phenomenon. In 2003 she won the AP award for best weathercast in Northern California. She also held meteorologist jobs at KTVK in Phoenix (monsoon thunderstorms, dust storms) and KRIV-TV in Houston (tropical storms, Hurricane Gilbert).

A Columbus, Ga., native who earned a broadcast meteorology degree from the University of Saint Thomas in Houston, Mohr got interested in weather during her teen years after a tornado picked up a nearby stable and wrapped it around the pine trees in her backyard.

She was a redhead when she was here in Phoenix. She came from Channel 3; the station that just churns out hot reporters.

She's OK but I would have rather seen them keep Hillary Andrews or Sarah Libby around.

I would think Cheryl Lemke, who's working weekend overnights, and Kristin Dodd, who until recently has been confined to the weekend 4-7 a.m. shifts, are the most vulnerable because of their ages.
It would kill me to lose Kristin, who looks fantastic ever since she began wearing her glasses. :twisted:

Damn! She just left KPIX 5 in San Francisco after all these years??
San Francisco's loss. She did the traditonal cover story with fashion spread in San Jose magazine that can be ordered online with a Google search. :shock:

Oh well, I suppose it's good that she's national.
