No, that's exactly how the KABC ones come out. What I'm finding is that caps from non-HD broadcasts (e.g. KCAL) come out "stretched" from top to bottom, I resize them back to 4:3 aspect ratio with Paint Shop Pro and they come out OK (look at the Jackie Johnson ones from last night, they were resized).

Actually......

"And...rumours continue to circulate..." A rather nervous-looking Michelle stumbled through the report which had just arrived in front of her....."of a sex...tape from an L.A. news ladies' night out some weeks ago". Beads of cold perspiration appeared on Michelle's forehead as the reality of the report sunk in. A shiver ran down her spine, and a slight uneasiness came over her. Exactly what had been recorded?

The caps look great but shouldn't they be 1280x720 or are you using some software that limits it (like DScaler)?

Not running anything that I'm aware of. They're direct from the Fusion HD software that came with the card - there's no adjustment for the caps. If anyone has any suggestions for improvement, I welcome them.

Which version of the Fusion software are you running (3.41 etc...)

And, is your card PCI or are you connected through USB?

Fusion 5 Lite HDTV card. Also, KABC have HD studio equipment, makes a big difference.

Thought this one was worthy of inclusion because it was such a change from Michelle's normally very conservative outfits.
