Guess who invaded Ginger's turf on Times Square ?
You guessed it, Kirk Herbstreit and the legendary Lee Corso from ESPN's College Gameday .

As most of you know, the 299th headgear pick by the former Indiana coach will be made as the legendary Saturday morning show makes its' first ever appearance in Times Square.

On a strictly weather related comment, yes it is the first day of autumn--but most of the country still feels like it is in the middle of summer. But I led off my caps on this Freaky Friday with pictures of images from the great Northwest, which is mired in a true winter blunderland :

You couldn't help but wonder, since ESPN's world famous College Gameday program had their set right near Ginger's outdoor perch on Times Square for three hours on Saturday morning --and when that show was over, the set was gone.

However, I was able to find a really neat article explaining the behind the scenes craziness while the show was on Ginger Zee's outdoor turf (plus a pic of the guys on set for authenticity).

Nonetheless, Ginger still looks Pretty in Pink .

Ginger spent most of last week in her second home of Nashville, since her husband Ben is teaming up with Kellie Pickler on a taped comedy/slapstick show.

Zendaya was the special guest in Times Square to promote having more technology available for the kids in today's schools:

Thursday had Ginger all over the place, finishing up giving fans a brief tour (with people already inside reading a newspaper and sipping down some coffee provided by Keurig) of the renovated Green Room--just a few mere yards away from the studio.

At least, the cameraman knew exactly where to point in the camera in the final seconds.

Not much screen time on Friday compared to yesterday, but some cute shots nonetheless:
