sad to say but i think she was phased out because she kind of let herself go...by TV's ridiculous standards.

Courtney still actually is with NBC Universal -- and the only major physical change she's gone under would be
her pregnancy just over 2 years ago:

So there's technically no reason for her not to appear on air at MSNBC or NBC even now, but I'd guess
that her new position is more managerial and behind the scenes.

Also, MSNBC has gone away from being an all-service network and is focusing solely on politics
They don't do entertainment news anymore

The "unknown boy" is her stepson.

She's expecting another baby with her husband, Steven Mars.
