Directv and the weather Channel

Well it looks like Directv and the Weather Channel finally agreed to a new deal. Bonus we will get Kristin's A$$ and more. Saaaweet. :wow

I knew they kept 361/362 mirroring one and other all this time just for when/if they reached this deal. Wonder when TWC returns how many people will tune to 362 without ever realizing it was WeatherNation for the last 4-5 months? LOL

WeatherNation is great for quick forecast. Weather channel sucks at that now thanks to all the non weather programming. WeatherNation sucks for live storm coverage. That's where TWC really excels.

The new deal with Directv and TWC will require TWC to reduce its reality programming by 50% during weekdays...Hopefully that will turn out to be a good thing for us.

I saw that too. I wonder how many of the OCM's and production staff were serectly pleased to hear that Comcast had to cut some of the reality reruns in favor of weather?

I didn't miss TWC at ALL!!! And I met the new girl of my dreams, Kristin Clark!! Stephanie Abrams is soooooooooooo obnoxious!!! I did miss lil Jen Carfagno, though I must admit. But Jim Can-Bore-Me can SHOVE it. With WN you can actually see a weather forecast!! Go Figure!!? Just my opinion.....
