The whole book thing seems to be more punishment for Andrea than anything else
As I understand, the book did not do as well as hoped
One reason for that
No book party
No appearances by Andrea on other Fox shows, or shows on other networks
I don;t buy Fox's story
Does Fox not talk with Harper/Collins?
Surely they knew about her book
I always wondered why Fox/Harper Collins would intentionally stunt sales of a book written by one of their employees

Reading all that must makes me convinced its a big of enough mess that she'll never be on air there again.

Her contract doesn't end until August 2017

Unless she is terminated or her lawyer and Fox reach a settlement agreement.

I think the whole house of cards that has been Fox News is crumbling before our eyes. I expect major changes because of this suit and hopefully Mr. O'Reilly is a casualty. He is the ultimate pin head who is always pointing out the ills of society as they pertain to liberalism and yet behind the scenes he is a skirt chasing mysogenist as frankly a lot of the guys on Fox News are. Not knocking being conservative but outwordly bashing "liberals" for amoral behavior while you are probably just as bad or worse is the ultimate in hipocracy..............The blonds, short skirts and couch time now looks like fantasy time for a bunch of leacherous old men at Fox.

Yeah this just proves to me that its as messy as I thought and will be messy enough for it to be just about a 100% sure bet she won't ever be on the air at Foxnews again.

A lot of these rumors could be true but even if so Fox is the only ones getting killed for it. I see a lot of the same stuff or setup at other channels so I wonder if they have some ole lech if its the case that this stuff is true telling them to dress in short skirts, sexy heels and sitting on couches with the cameras closeup and zooming in on them also?

I don't know one way or the other but whatever caused Fox to be like Fox to this point they're not the only ones doing it. Thats my only point.

When the book publisher is owned by the same company that owns the network how could they not have known what was in the book and on the cover?

Oh, I'm not saying that the book had nothing to do with it at all.
It is possible that Andrea purposely chose not to give them the kind of full outline they
probably expected --like the cover photo of her bound and gagged, etc.

And that's even more likely if she had an existing beef with them over her harassment
matters from earlier... she probably felt like going rogue with the book was
one way to tell them to "screw off". But then, when Gretchen's situation broke open,
she probably saw that it just legitimized it all, so now she's feeling freer to make her
true feelings public about what went on.

And remember, way back in March soon after she went AWOL, Andrea did
promise to have "much more to say"...
I think it's entirely possible she may have known something about Gretchen's matter well
before the $#it hit the fan.

I for one would like to know more about these behind the scenes, sex-fueled operations....

They are the only ones doing it. Some of the females have even bragged on air about the legs chair on the Five, Tantaros herself mentioned it. The way they dress and everything else on Fox is very much calculated.

I doubt they are the only ones doing it but as Miss Tantaros pointed out they are hiding behind the smoke screen of "conservative family values". I think that is the biggest issue. The whole idea that one political party somehow has appointed itself the moral compass of this country is just insane to me. As many have pointed out Fox News and talk show pundints like Rush Limbaugh basically steer the party at this point which is very disturbing to say the least.........

This is the smart money grab for Andrea. Before the holy war starts, hear me out. Andrea or anyone else is going to say Roger made a play/hostile work environment at Fox. Since Roger is no longer running Fox News he can't testify in court due to a non-disclosure agreement. Fox will settle out of court. Yes Ailes has some money, but the safe bet is to go after Fox Corp since the cards will be stacked against them.

I read all 37 pages of the lawsuit. What I took away from it is

- There is no doubt that there is a culture of verbal sexual harrassment at Fox that comes from the top (Ailes) and is tolerated all the way down.
- There is no doubt that there was retaliation against Tantaros for continuing to complain about sexual harrassment.
- It's hard to believe someone would have made up so many specific instances of harrassment that include such specific details of what Ailes and others said, particularly since some of things that were said were pretty weird, like asking about the sexual orientation of specific people.
- The reason given by Fox for action taken again Tantaros, her alleged violation of the book publishing part of her contract, doesn't add up. They could have terminated her and fired her without pay over that, but they didn't. Why?
- Tantaros' lawyer puts together a long list of actions that allegedly show that Fox is "out to get her." Some of them are going to be quite easy to prove, but others are going to be hard to connect to specific individuals and therefore hard to prove.
- This is only the beginning of these lawsuits. Fox is about to be Cosby-ed.
