Ana closes out her week of subbing for Carol.
Here, she gets the handoff from NewDay by Alisyn and guest Mackenzie Bart, the winner
of "America's Next Weatherman" (maybe a future TWC babe --that is if TWC's still around by then )
Plus, bits of a taped piece with Alisyn meeting with New Hampshire voters.

Time for a special throwback to May of 2014, to one of the first times
CNN had Ana sit in to host anything; in this case it was Saturday, May 10,2014
for CNN Newsroom. Clearly, Ana made the most of it....
(Somehow, this never made it to WWoW until now)

May 26 & 27, 2016

First update for this thread in a while -- Ana spent time away on maternity leave from
around the holidays up through early April, and has been gradually ramping back up.
This week, she's been sitting in on New Day, and for Friday morning (5/27), she did a bit
of a marathon subbing for 2 hours on "Early Start", then jumping studios for another 3 hours
at "New Day". Because of this, we've got a nice treat of not only maximum Ana for all us
in the "Cabrera Cabal", but also some great supporting ladies:
Alisyn Camerota, Alison Kosik, Michelle Kosinski, Pamela Brown, Sunlen Serfaty, and Margaret Hoover. :Thumb

Among the highlights -- a possible first-time anchor desk pair-up with Alison K.,
a segment promoting "The 80's" CNN special where we get a glimpse of young Alisyn Camerota
from back in the day, and we catch Chris Cuomo in the act of grabbing a look at Ana in mid-legcross.

Ana takes the anchor desk for "Newsroom" both afternoons on the weekend.
And she provides some amusing and expressive looks along the way --
she seemed to be on bit of a "winky" streak both days .....
