QVC LAUNCHES QVCHD

West Chester, Pa. (April 30, 2008) – QVC, Inc. announced today the launch of QVCHD, a high-definition (HD) simulcast of the network’s domestic broadcast.

"As HD programming becomes increasingly more in demand, we’re thrilled to offer our customers an enhanced shopping experience through QVCHD," said QVC’s Senior Vice President of Affiliate Sales and Marketing Al Ulozas. "We’re presently in negotiations with our affiliates for carriage. QVCHD will be a wonderful addition to any of our affiliates’ HD line-ups."

With QVCHD, QVC’s products – and the stories behind them – will come alive with crisper, more colorful and detailed programming. QVCHD will be televised live, 24 hours a day, 364 days a year, featuring the best in beauty, home, fashion, jewelry and electronics.

This HD layout doesn't surprise me since it gives them more room to give more info or put other items up simultaneously. Obviously they are following the Fox News format.

Doesn't surprise me either.Just hope the picture is better,tired of people bashing Lisa over her looking orange.When it's QVC's poor quality that causes her and others too look that way.

no, it's b/c she leans a lil' too heavy on the self-tanner.

Like i said it's the poor quality of the signal that causes them to have a orange look.Also i have seen models like Trina&Monica have a green look to them.

Lisa does overdo the tanner.

with it going hd will see if that true or not or see who ware to much makeup too. but its good thing so people can see item at better pic
