Please, which of the following renders better results in obtaining good quality videos (better resolution or better image)?
a) vhs to dvd
b) vhs to cd

SVCD quality is almost as good as DVD quality, but not quite. Also dvds have much more room for recording, and if you compare cost per byte, dvd+r's are a much better value than cd-r's. DVD's are the clear choice and dvd+r's at that.

when you record a VCR tape to a CD or DVD, what you have on the VCR tape, will look the same on a DVD. I never recorded a VCR tape to a CD, my guess would be that it would be the same as putting it onto a DVD, but not sure 100%.
As donkeed said, a DVD holds alot more then a CD (about 7 times as much)
In other words, you will not be able to take a old VCR tape and make it into DVD quality.

Thanks to both.
Is there any advantage in using dazzle (video capture card), instead of a TV tuner card (in passing from vhs to PC)?
Maybe better quality of video in terms of resolution or image quality?
