I get the live sound but no picture during Facebook live streams. Only a black screen with a pop up bubble saying others can see that I'm viewing this live stream. When the live stream ends and the video is archived I can view it perfectly.
This does not happen anywhere else for me with live streams...not on YT, Dailymotion, Vimeo, TV channel streams, ect. Any idea why it's happening only on Facebook?
My Desktop uses IE 11 and Windows 7, but have not checked if it happens on my laptop with Windows 10 Edge browser or with Chrome.

Coincidentally, I randomly stumbled upon this tweet a few hours ago: https://twitter.com/imyke/status/717817 ... 29/photo/1

I think you've already found your problem: IE11. From what I understand, Facebook uses HTML5 to play all its videos and IE11's HTML5 capabilities are somewhat limited. That's my guess. I'd definitely give a more modern browser a try since Flash is quickly being forced out in favor of HTML5.

It also happens to me using Firefox 44.02. :Kool

In the fb help section. Someone said with Adobe Flash Player to go into the global security settings panel, and change the slider to 0, and to check "allow third- party Flash content to store data on your computer.
Here is how you get to the Abode Flash Player, global security settings panel.

I am hoping HTML5 will soon become the standard for videos. I have not used Flash for a long time due to it being such a vulnerable program for viruses and malware. I would also highly recommend not allowing 3rd parties to store information on your computers unless you have an anti-virus program you really trust. :Thumb
