They seriously brought back Melissa?---That's surprising. They dumped her around 2010 or 2011. She was one of the winners of Nuestra Belleza Latina. The contest is on infrequently. Recently Despierta America let go of the last winner from the show. Anyways Melissa was the second or third winner of this contest. She had a role on DA herself. She just could not fit in and it was a time of many changes when they were firing people and hiring people. She was first a contributor on the show then a host but they moved her to weather and when that failed they fired her. At the time the channel Azteca America had been launched, It just ended a year ago, And they tried doing programs from the United States in Los Angeles. One of the first people they hired was Melissa Marty. She did a really nice show but for whatever reason they canceled it after 8 months. And that was the last time following her. It is great to see her back on TV.
