It's a vicious cycle. First you see her on the tv, and feel the urge to reach for lotion. But, you don't have any and say to oneself.. "oh, but what brand lotion should I buy?" "Hmmm.... EUREKA! I know, I'll go buy some Jergens!", and you go buy it and commence with the "Jergen Off"..
