Thanks. I'm a big Stevie Ray Vaughan fan, and the anniversary of his death is coming up on 8/27. He died way too young, but his music lives on.

SRV was phenomenal. I gotta play a little "Tin Pan Alley" on 8/27.

Man, I remember talking to an old frat buddy of mine on his way back from Detroit or Ann Arbor. That was about 20 years ago now.

He saw Clapton and said that SRV joined him on stage for a little jam session. Sadly, I think it was that night or the day after that the plane SRV was on went down. My understanding is that Clapton was supposed to be on board too but some good fortune came his way.
