Season 2 finale begins with a duet of Jane (Brooke Elliott) and Vanessa (Jaime Ray Newman) singing Cheap Trick's song "I Want You to Want Me" to Grayson, the man they both want.
Grayson and Vanessa (Jaime Ray Newman) break up. Jane thinks that this is her chance to tell Grayson her secret. Later, Grayson surprises Jane by asking her to be "best man" at his up coming wedding to Vanessa. Turns out, that talk Grayson and Jane had about relationships made him change his mind, and decide that Vanessa was the right one for him. Just when it looked like Vanessa was gone for good, it seems she'll be back next season.
