I've got a funny story to relate on this appearance -- this timing of the clip
matches up with something I was told about the next day....
A friend of mine and his girlfriend were roaming near the National Mall on that night
(last Thursday evening, about 12 hours before the inauguration)
and were walking along 12th Street. They were around maybe 200 or 300 yards from the media
center where Fox, MSNBC, CNN, and others had this temporary "studio house" set up, which is midway
between the Capitol and Washington Monument.
So they had been up near the studio with some others looking up into the Fox booth, and saw a little bit
of Tucker doing his first segment or two, but had decided to go into town and find some food.
As they were moving off the Mall on 12th Street, this small group was trotting towards them looking like they
were in a hurry -- a guy and a woman wearing ID badges, closely followed by two tall guys with a smaller
woman sandwiched between them, and each guy was sort of holding
the woman nearly off the ground by her elbows.
As they passed by, they noticed she was in a knee-length gown and high heels, and kind of "kick-running" even though her feet
were barely making contact with the ground, since the guys were essentially carrying her.
They heard her saying over and over --
"MOVE! MOVE! Damn it!! We're not gonna make it!" as they all scurried by.
The other woman out front looked back and said -- "Come on, we've got 3 minutes!!!"
My friends paused, watched them approach the media house, and scramble up some steps....
It was Judge Jeanine and her small posse, apparently late coming from a party down the street,
and nearly missing her live shot with Tucker!
They basically carried her a block or two and had to throw her into the studio at the last possible moment
.
