The New Your Weather Today format (D)

Looks like it's mostly from New York with cut-ins from Atlanta, namely the Weekly Planner and the digital media center. The third hour was all Atlanta. Today it was Jen and Maria.

I'm surprised they haven't just moved Abrams and Bettes over to NBC. Oh yeah, and not to piss off any of her fans, but after seeing that third picture with Steph... I just don't see the appeal.

They say this is a trial, I think there's a good chance it becomes permanent. Heck, why even have two locations, just merge it into one. NBC has been taking a bite out of TWC every few months since they bought it, eventually there might not be anything left. Al Roker's production company is slowly taking over blocks of programming.

Just saw it today. Horrible changes as far as Stephanie Abrams and Mike Bettes go. Wake up With Al then two hours of Bettes with Abrams.

But the hour after that was good with Maria La Rosa and Jen Carfagno in Atlanta. Lots of leg shots. Gives crappers a reason to watch the last hour of Your Weather Today as it is not the same as rest of show.

I must add that on the repeat of Wake Up with Al they ran a live segment with Jen and Maria and showed the shuttle discovery being flown to the Smithsonian and did some weather.

Why I doubt TWC will move to NYC is they just made changes to the studio and the global forecast center.
Plus as you can tell by the small studio they use in NYC I doubt they have the space for a full control room and studio for The Weather Channel at 30 Rock.
My guess is if they do keep Stephanie and Mike in NYC then they will find a bigger studio for them to use.
WNBC will be moving to a new studio around April 21st to maybe their soon to be old studio could be used by The Weather Channel.

Don't know about ya'll but my dish feed has a lip synch issue with Stef and Mike.....pretty poor quality audio for a new studio.....
