According to her facebook:

last Friday:
"OK...I am so excited! Just got word that I am going to Nashville to cover the CMT Music Awards next week! Beyond cool! Actually, it's going to be HOT...no end in sight for the heat!"

Today:
"Excited for the CMT Music Awards - its going to be hot night! Who are my country fans out there - who do you hope I get to talk to?"

The awards show is at 8 PM Eastern this Wednesday.

It's The Weather Channel. 65% weather, 35% completely unrelated stuff. :?

Good question, though...CMT is owned by Viacom, not Comcast/Universal, so that can't be
it - there's no tie-in thing.

The silver lining is that all opportunities to see Jen must be maximized. We can debate the schizophrenic programming of the Weather Channel until we are in the face and we will never make sense of the whole mess. I just love Jen Jen.

No it is the other way around 65% Other Stuff 35% Weather half the time it is shows and when there is bad weather the have the shows instead of weather alerts :blah :blah :Bang :Bang

What could they possibly have her do 12+ hours before the show starts-- watch the performers having breakfast in their hotels???

And unless the show's being held outdoors, there's no story angle with a chance of it being rained out.... this is just odd sounding.
