The beauty of vids is, for me, they are faster to produce, for you, you can cap what you like out of it. If you use firefox I highly recommend using
DownloadHelper to save videos off of youtube
or using this handy site. Also if you would like to cap the videos you save I use
mpg2cut2 works great. If you would like an add free and spam free place to host your caps check out my site @ tvcaps.org all I ask is that you crop the caps to remove most of the background because it saves space and bandwidth. If you do not wish to crop your caps or just don't have the time, I recommend using
ImageBam or
Imgur both are pretty quick and you do not have to be a "registered or paying" user.
As always post here at WWoW with your caps, but please post at tvcaps as well. This site is great and I will help these guys in anyway I can, my whole purpose of setting up tvcaps was to take advantage of the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) code supplied by
phpbbSEO. I would like to see tvcaps mostly HD, but that isn't practical and all caps are welcomed.
For those that do record and edit and scan all this video, converting file types, batch file renames and other things involved know that there is a smidge of work and effort, and a lot of time involved. We "cappers" do it because we enjoy the women, may be their looks, their personality or both. Point is this stuff is a little bit of "work", we do it because we enjoy it and hope you do too, we REALLY hope that you get involved and help. Like bees of a hive we should all be "working" because that's a lot of honey to be had.
