I actually have to agree with you. Not that I understand Lynn's affection for her new husband, but Lynn Smith sounds so plain and boring. But I don't want to rain on Lynn's day, so I hope she has a long and prosperous relationship and hope to see her renewed and refreshed in two weeks.
Nothing against Mr. Smith, congrats to them and I hope nothing but good luck. The problem is the divorce rates are a problem especially with the recent news of the divorce/separation of Lara Spencer and Courtney Friel. Don't know how big the rates are. The biggest example was ED Hill. She was married like five times and use her hubby's name for each time. I admit some of that is because I don't like when go from said Samantha Steele become Samantha (or Sam) Ponder, or Giuliana Depandi becomes Giuliana Rancic and now Lynn Berry is now Lynn Smith. To be fair, Nicole Manske to Nicole Briscoe is one name change I like and starting to warm up to Lindsay Rhoads. I know it's their decision and hopefully their decision alone but what happens when they get a divorce? I wonder what happens if one of this meets, dates, and possibly get married an anchor/reporter. Do we want them to keep their maiden name or take our name. Honestly I fine if the person I married keeps her name but the kids take my name.
