This was remarkably daring for a news anchor to do, if you think about it. Granted, it wasn't Playboy -- but if you're Robin Meade (pretty much Lynne's present-day equivalent), or Megyn Kelly, or Brooke Baldwin, or Norah O'Donnell, and you try this now you may not get fired, but you'll at least be called in for a meeting with the suits. I know, we see the news ladies get glammed up now and then or do a leggy photoshoot from time to time, but Lynne practically went topless here. We can only assume the then-bigwigs at CNN cleared this first. (btw --not saying that none of the ladies mentioned above shouldn't try it  ). |

(the Russell issue above is from 1998) Jezebel is still around, both print and digital, but surprisingly, I can't find any trace that Robin's ever made their "most beautiful Atlantan" list -- nor has a number of other ATL-based newsbabes. She's only been in an article or two, or shots from a party...that's it. . |
