Following on from yesterday, here's another set of caps that I hadn't posted before. These were actually my first caps of Robin since early December. After Comcast encrypted my clear QAM channels, I was stuck recording Morning Express in analog and that left me bitter for a long while. Finally got a new tuner five months later and started making these caps below.

These caps were made about a month before Comcast added HLN HD to my lineup. I had major pixelation issues when creating these caps and these are only the ones that turned out the best. Looking back at them now, they weren't as bad as I thought, so hope you all like them too. ;)

A friendly note to anyone planning to start capping: Don't use Gadwin PrintScreen to cap SD video in Windows Media Center. One word: Pixelation!!! :censor

They look good enough to me. But then, any photo or cap or Robin looks good to me! :P

I see that the backlog included the one day they did that unique angle of Robin at the couch with the monitor behind her. Wonder why they've never tried that shot since?

All in all, another excellent job! :Thumb

Never tried Media Center but when I used Windows Media Player the print-screens came out blank. Just use VLC or Media Player Classic. There is a new Media Player Classic out which is called Media Player Classic-Home Cinema which handles even some HD files.

Definitely! VLC is just about the best video player you can use to create caps. I used MPC for a while too but I found it a little slow for the way that I cap. I only capped out of Windows Media Center for about a month just to see how it would turn out (that was the only way I could cap at the time because I didn't have anything to convert WTV files to DVR-MS or MPEG).
