Comcast always puts on lame local news at the top of the hour, so this is the first time I've ever seen Robin chat with the Moviefone guy. So this is the scant few minutes of leg that I missed on my recording! :P

Oh, and :censor you, Comcast!

I have Comcast too. They just can't seem to leave HLN alone.

I've had to deal with their commercial cut-ins and "local editions" for a long time. But fortunately, they've stopped airing the local editions at the end of the first three hours, but I always miss the Mr. Moviefone segment every Friday because of it. I've only ever seen the Mr. Moviefone segment a few times since I've been watching Robin in '05. That's a whole lot of leg shots that I've missed!

I wish I had Directv again...

Anyway, thanks for the caps, JacqueFan. :D

I think our Comcast will also do it at the bottom of the hour during the day, but only at the top at night. They briefly did it twice an hour during Robin's show, but that only lasted a few weeks, thankfully.

When I was recording Robin's coverage of the presidential inauguration, I thought not only would I preserve Robin on a historic day, but I'd also have a copy of Obama's inauguration speech. Just one problem... right on cue, local Comcast news is pasted right in the middle of his speech! :Tantrum :censor
