I just found out that today is Mia's last day at ABC13, WSET. Although I can say that I'm not shocked due to WSET pretty much being a training station. Most reporters only last about 3 years before they either move on to another station, or simply find another avenue of employment. That is, unless you're an anchor, and they're only four full-time anchors on the staff. But I'm going to miss her. When she started out it was like she couldn't get through a report without stumbling over words. But as you can see here, she gained a ton of polish.

Is she going elsewhere to cover the news or finding a new opportunity?

Nothing has been revealed yet. I think just about every news personality around here signs some sort of confidentiality agreement where they don't say anything on any of their social media accounts until the very week that they go onto a new station. For example, Sydney Welch, who was the morning meteorologist at WSET was silent about her whereabouts from her last day on Sept. 8 until her first day at NBC10 in Boston on Oct. 17.
