I don't know if anyone has noticed, but Ginger began to give pint sized weather updates in the opening segments on GMA3. By my stopwatch, the segment lasts around 45 seconds.

Standing around a wall of at least 16 monitors, she focuses on the two largest monitors like we see in the mornings:
The clip(s) sent from people's Instagram or X accounts showing off the devastation from rain, snow, tornadoes, blizzards, ice storms, etc. is on the far left monitor. The one that is focused in the center is the map of what the weather would be like for the next 2 to 3 days.

With that said, here is a nice batch from the morning show. Included are some close-up images where I couldn't help but think about one of the famous phrases that longtime college basketball analyst for Fox Sports 1 and CBS Sports Bill Raftery often says when a ball hits the rim before settling through the net:

"With a kisssssssssss"

From this past Wednesday, aka Turkey Eve:

In case anyone didn't see Ginger's Instagram on Friday morning, Saturday marks a major milestone in her career:

Ginger celebrates 10 years as ABC News Chief Meteorologist in providing the weather during most weekdays, along with the always critical news on climate change.

Devoted fans know that she was hired by the network in 2011 and did the weekends for two years. Prior to that, she gained some popularity for five years doing weekends at NBC5 in Chicago (who was then replaced by current ABC7 Chicago meteorologist Cheryl Scott). Ginger got her start at the NBC affiliate in Grand Rapids, Michigan WOOD 8 nearby where she was raised.

Considering her well known struggles with mental health, here is wishing that she will be around with us for 10, 20, maybe even 30 or more years.

Anyways, let us congratulate Ginger on this major milestone.

Here's an early virtual Christmas present, especially after she returned last week from doing some special reports from way up in Canada to see the Northern Lights up close.

Even though there has not been a huge quantity of caps as in years past (in terms of overall days), at the very least I hope you enjoyed what I was able to find.
I especially loved seeing the different varieties of Christmas trees, my goodness .
