Very depressing mornings without Christina

Ines is trying to pick up the slack, and she is a lovely lady in her own right, but nobody can fill Christina's shoes (or any other part of her wardrobe for that matter)

I hope this is just a 1-week vacation and that she is back on Monday 06/30.

I am sure that the ratings for GDAM & GDNY this week are lower without Christina

I miss seeing her on screen too.

I've cut back on doing caps this week - kind of. Watching a few vids I have of her. And reading my Youtube copyright infringement emails from WNYW. Another five bit the dust yesterday. I suppose next month another five. And so on.

Now word that Christina might be a field reporter for the evening newscasts. Still trying to find out.

Karen Hepp worked the morning show last week while Christina was off. Christina should be back on GDNY on Monday while Karen gets this weekend off.

Those are my thoughts too. I figure with the time of year, there are some shuffling of scheduled going on. Happens. If it the change is perm, so be it. Lighter capping for me.

Did you watch the midday show? Probably not.
If you had you would have heard Reid Lamberty say "Christina is off today". That means she is scheduled to be there but had the day off. I don't know where got the idea that she was no longer part of GDNY.

I've been capping for a long time and this happens every summer. Pretty soon Jodi will go on vacation. When that happens are you going to think that she was kicked off the show as well?

Christina anchored the Sunday night newscast so she was obviously going to back this week. I was simply off by a couple of days but I was still correct in my thinking. That shouldn't be a surprise.
