Post subject:  Mediafire's new format

I posted this in off topic then moved to to tech support/reviews. I figured no one would see it there.

Anyways, Mediafire's new format allows uploading of more than 10 files in one shot. Plus you can select multiple files at once instead of one by one. Great for someone like me who has many parts for the large HD files. It was at 10 or less before, and you had pick the files 1 by 1. The files are verified as they go so you can get links copied faster instead of waiting for all them upload.

Also, it's selling MediaPro accounts like RS premium where you can upload up to 2GB files and no ads. It's has tiers based on how much bandwidth you need.

I like the changes, but as long they don't have limits on how much people can download, I don't see any reason to get a premium account.

And please, let's not turn this into a RS vs. Mediafire discussion. I think everyone is sick of that. I just wanted to point out the new format for those who haven't seen it yet.

Sounds like a win-win situation.

They also added an option to upload to an existing folder. They're working out the bugs and making it better. :Kool

I used Mediafire the other day for the first time in ages,
I must admit the new look/features look great
I am still restricted to 50% of my upload speed but Mediafire is the best alternative to RS

Removed :D

I'm not keen on sites like rapidspread. Because if they die (and many of them have) all your links go with it.

Mediafire has added the option of having the filename in the url. Great help for quality control checking posts instead of having to click each one to see if you copied the right link. The option isn't available on the main upload page yet, but hopefully they're working on it.
