I switched from Time Werner to Att for cable TV, I have since found out that Att blocks thier video and I cannot use my DVD recorder.Anyway to record to a dvd? |

It's probably macrovision encryption so you could search of ways to beat that. I've had success beating macrovision by piping the signal through an old CD burner. If you have a VCR or something you could try piping the signal though that. Just hook up the cable/sat box to the input of the VCR and then the output from the VCR to the DVD recorder. The older the VCR the better because some of the newer ones are macrovision compliant. You might lose some quality, but you will be able to record. |

How about those gadget called video stabilzer/video clarifier?I Had one way back then to dub rented vhs movie on to another tape that bypassed macrovision.I recently tried to record HBO or just your basis movie channel(TNT,AMC)but it didn't work.I'm sure the current device on the market should by pass that.
