When I recod something I'm using an ATI card and it gets saved as an ATI file. Widow movie maker and other avi/vmp players don't recognize it. Is there a way to convert my files from ATI to avi/vmp?

I'm not familiar with ATI files, but you could try virtual dub mod (free) to convert to avi.

If you need help using it, post here.

Also there might be a setting with the capture software to change the file type you capture.
