| Post subject: | Using Windows Vista |
I'm about to seriously upgrade my home computer (the one I use for capping). Right now, I'm using Windows XP Professional. I'm pulling the disk drive out of the older box and putting it in the newer one. I'm taking such a jump in processor speed and memory that Windows Vista will run easily on this new box. I wonder if anyone has any experience to share with Vista and using things like Media Player Classic, DIVX Author, or anything like that? I don't want to run an upgrade program and then find out all my old programs won't run. |

Thanks! That was helpful. Even though I'll have 4G memory on the new motherboard, I'm not seeing the case for going to Vista Ultimate yet. |

I purchased a new PC a few weeks back... I do not think that I will ever like it (Vista). Horrible OS. I installed a second hard drive just so that I could have XP (I know I could have partitioned but...) |
