Please help me! I have spybot and a good antivirus program
but this goddang freaking piece of crap partypoker.com and
empirepoker.com popups have taken over my computer. Then
some stupid winantivirus program downloaded itself on my
computer without me authorizing it!!! Also every 10 minutes
whatever window I am viewing changes to partypoker with me
even clicking anything !!! aRRRGGgghh!!!
Does anyone know of a free adware program that will kill
this poker crap on my computer and guard me from this crap?
Or do you know that actual program name of this thing so
I can perform a search on my computer and delete it?

Hope some super wizard can help me because I'm helpless!!!

Thanks lorifan !!

AVG seemed to work the best for me! It cured my virus !!

Thank you yoda !!!

Hey flaming_cowpie when viewing my sex goddesses I always use
Internet Explorer because it allows me to faster navigate the net.
Firefox is solid and I use it for downloads but it slows me down when
web surfing.

Two other things you can do in IE is stop popups and make you control which cookies get loaded onto your computer. To do that, Click on "Tools", then "Internet Options", then the click on the "Privacy" tab, there you can adjust which pop-ups you want. :Kool

Try Opera. It is the fastest and it's just as secure as Firefox. Also check out Naked joy of surfing.

That is odd. FF has always been blazing fast for me. Much faster than IE.

Ditto. Not to mention the part where FF is 10,000 better, with tabbed browsing, all the themes, add-ons, and script-killers.

I went to that site, and here's the thing that made me laugh:
"Hand(s)-free browsing

* Easy browsing with one hand free for other activities"

- "Other" activities...? Why don't they just come out and say "You can spank it with either hand while still browsing for more porn!"

The "NoScript" feature is great.

A lot of the various viruses, spyware etc... things that you get from surfing unsafe sites (probably what you did saraevansfan) is from JavaScript & ActiveX code built into the site.

IE tends to let everything through. W/ FireFox you can go right in & turn JavaScript off or just get the NoScript to be much safer:

No real reason to use IE unless you're a developer, IMO.

What OS and which version of FF are you using? Because FF 2.0 works like a dream on vista.
