Post subject:  problem downloading from Rapidshare.com

Hi,

I am currently experiencing problems downloading any file with Rapidshare.com, although I have an account with them. I am receiving the following message:

RIFFääAVI LISTÂ"hdrlavih8hj À@LISTØstrlstrh8vidsxvid￾ Hèj ¬Y'À@strfl(À@XVID￾JUNK

I have tried erasing the cookie, but it still does not work. Can someone help me?

This is new. I have just noticed today that from some places that the video goes to download mode automatically instead of going through the clicking of Premium/Free click mode. I don't understand what is doing it.

For some reason RapidShare turned on the automatic download in everyone's accounts.

Just go into your premium account. Click options and UNCheck direct-downloads. Save.

Thanks BPM! I didn't know there was such an option. I am so used to clicking through especially to select the server to download from. :Kool

I always knew about the option but I don't like it. I prefer to pick my server & not having the direct-downloads allows me to have a bunch of rapidshare tabs open & download them as I see fit.

I noticed it late Friday. It's good in the way that it saves you a few seconds of going through menus and such, but what if the luck of the draw gives you a slow server? I'll keep it on for now and see how it goes.
