Post subject:  Imagebam revised layout very confusing

Imagebam after all of these years finally decided to change their overall layout.

This was their original statement:
Quote:
Hosting millions of files requires massive resources and it simply became too big for our previous hosting platform to handle.

We are pleased to announce we have partnered with a new team that have extensive experience in large-scale hosting, our new gen hardware enables us to continue to provide the high standard of service that you are used to, while preparing us for many billions of files into the future.

Here are my initial observations:

Although the pics are a bit larger when you first enter the site, when you click on each image--the "b" and "n" key letter functions are not functional :x .

When scrolling, each of the pics are in one continuous single column in one page, instead of having two pics side by side (100 pics per page.)

Even worse, each set begins with going backwards instead of forwards :Doh .

Email support@imagebam.com and tell them what browser you are using to report these different issues regarding this revised layout. Thanks.

I managed to receive a short reply, so hopefully we can get others here on this board to mention something similar:

We take user feedback into great consideration.
I will forward this to our development team.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

In all of my years seeing thousands upon thousands of images, there is absolutely little point regarding the fact that you have to scroll constantly just to reach the last image in a set. The old way was much better, 100 images per page--click on the next section, done.

Sure hope it gets revised.
