I've come up with this products:

The first one, apart from being a TV tuner, passes from vhs to pc.

The second one passes from vhs to pc. Can I expect more fluidity with the second one, or maybe another advantage.

At this moment, I only want to pass vhs to pc, but in the future I might want to capture directly from TV.

If you're ever wanting to capture from the tv then the first one is the way to go. You could still capture from the tv with the other but you would have to run your tv through your vcr then the vcr to real time video converter, which would probably lower the quality.

I think both would be fine. The 2nd one is more for taking video off digital cameras or video converters.
