Hey guys,
Can someone tell me why I cannot play videos with the ending .avi?

For some reason the media player says "error with codec"?

What should I be playing these videos in?

you just need to download the codec for it. Or I use winamp to play everything.

Go to http://www.divx.com and download the latest codec, and you should be good to go. Make sure you do just the free version; they have a pay version as well.
