Cobra has a point. AdBlock gets rid of most of the garbage these sites put up and it makes general web surfing better in general. And it's free! |

"i have been using imagevenu for years and never get porn ads or nothing" Thank for the info. I have tried a lot of "image hosting sites " and it seems that imagevenu does a pretty good job. Think I will continue there. I will look into adblock. Thanks Loneranger |

I wouldn't recommend NoScript as it takes quite a bit of work to get the settings right if you're not an experienced user. AdBlock or uBlock Origin are just set-and-forget and are more than enough to stop ad scripts from running for most situations. |

I need some help here. I've tried almost all the hosting sites you guys mentioned. I like Forumimagehosting the most but I can't figure out how everyone else can save the images I post. Right click doesn't do anything. I'm still looking for a site where you can click from one image to the next in the same gallery. Lots of them don't do that. I want to register so I can find all my galleries if I need to download them. I'm thinking ahead to the next time a site says it's shutting down. Edit: I tried about 10 sites and decided to use imageupload.co.uk. It works like forumimagehosting.com but has a download button below the image. |

And imgbox is back to fully operational. I'm guessing another company bought them both. |

Yes... but... please be careful, save backups, at least until we know what's going on with them! |

jt20042 wrote: I like Postimage! https://postimage.io/ Thanks. I really like this site until I found out there is no way to click thru albums. You have to open each full size image from its thumbnail. I know I'm being picky but it's to make things easy for you guys to go thru the caps I post. |

A few days ago my avatar disappeared and all my smileys were also gone. They are still on the PB website but not on any sites where I used them. This what I saw: They removed all 3rd party hosting w/o any warning unless you pay $400.00/yr http://support.photobucket.com/hc/en-us ... icing-Info Anyone know a site for animated gif hosting. I use Tinypic also but their upload size limits are too small for larger gifs. |

Hmm, looks like Photobucket took swift advantage of finding Im* users left out hung to dry. Not nice. I don't believe Imgur has any GIF restrictions. |

Yep, it's July 1, and they both are still online. Looks like the images are still up too. Not happy with the agita they caused, but happy not to lose the galleries. The only good thing about the small change is that when you click on any individual pic, the galleries will still be active on the top of every page. |
