One reason: there are 10 old useless outdated continuing sticky threads before the first current post taking up 2/3 of the screen.

Tech support has a lot of information people can use. I remember when I first started capping and had questions, someone else usually had the same one and posted. Without a tech support forum, half the cappers wouldn't be here. I hope everyone can try to help out here when they can. The problem is sometimes the issue is hard to diagnose because of a plethora of factors that could be the root. I'll try to help when I can to troubleshoot or direct to where there might be info. |

You're right there were a lot of threads made sticky that didn't have links that worked or were irrelevant now. I removed those posts. |

It does have value though, I just found a tip on capping today (from yodaking, thnx!). It's from 2006 but got me off and running. So,,,perhaps more newbies like myself are still benefiting from the 'ol thread,, DJ |

So,,,perhaps more newbies like myself are still benefiting from the 'ol thread,, DJ I have no doubt that "newbies" as you say do benefit indeed. I was refering to everyone. It would be nice to discuss current internet issues that are always changing presenting new problems or even new benefits. No one is an expert on everything. The internet is too vast. There have recently been threads concerning download managers, image sites and other issues that IMO have been helpful and informative for all. This is not a tech board but collectively we could help each other out a lot I have no doubt. My intent was to bring attention to that. |
