Need some ideas on how I can connect a HD cable box into a tv tuner. I thought I knew But I am getting a 6 second delay between my action on the remote and their appearances on the tuner.

If anyone can answer this it would be helpful. I now have a audio issue when I connected the cable box using coax cables to the tv tuner. The audio was cutting off on various channels. But using a hdmi cable into a tv has no problems but I am not sure what I can do to get the signal on the computer. No signal came on when I tried a s-video cable and I can't find the adapter for the computer to try a red, yellow and white video jacks. The audio issues might be on my end but I am nit sure yet.

Have to post an update. I spoke with Time Warner and it seems there are problems with the service that cause audio issues and other malfunctions in the area. I will add this that last night all channels went out and on a reboot the system is frozen. So I was told to just wait till the issues are fixed and if not a tech can come out to check, but it is my area having problems. They got lots of complaints. Only 9 days with the service and I get these errors.
