Post subject:  Virus Protector Question
My subscription to McAfee is ending and they want $70 to renew it for one year. Is it worth it for me to do that? Or should I go with Microsoft Security Essentials which is totally free?

I had McAfee a couple of years ago, and had nothing but troubles with it. Tech support was not able to resolve issues.
So, as soon as the ripoff of a subscription ended, I switched to Microsoft Security Essentials, and have been trouble-free :D

It's worked for me, perhaps others have had differing experiences. But, hey, what the hell? It's free :P
