They're making it easier to downland and thumbnail pics quickly. I like the feature where you just bring up the pic on a site and then you can click it and it downloads to imageshack and it gives you the code to put in a forum like here.

That's a great tool to make posts with that you don't want to save. I really like downthemall https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/m ... =10&id=201

available for firefox browser users. You can download full pictures from posts with thumbnails without opening them one by one. You can go through and delete the ones you don't like later.

Now that is a good feature without having to save it onto your computer and then uploading. :D

Once it's installed just right click on any image in the post and go to the downTHEMALL! option. Then choose pick a file to download to, and check the box for images.

I like the idea of an OS X dashboard widget for easy uploading! :D

Too bad I still haven't upgraded to Tiger yet. :(

After seeing Yoda's reviews of image shack, I suppose I shgould have left my photos there vs. opening an account & reloading to photo bucket...what a pain in the a$$. Should have left well enough alone.

That sounds like cool software Donkeed spoke of. Definitely will look into that one! What a time saver as longt as that software doesn't hose up a machine or plant bots.

Just remember this threads pretty old, imageshack has become infamous for deleting pictures and thumbnails. That's why it's not as popular on boards as it used to be, people have been going with imageshack and photobucket instead.

As for photobucket being a pain in the FishFilletMD*, use Flock to upload pics from your PC is the best upload program I've ever used.

* I'm my own word censor

Thanks Roop! It was more time consuming than anything else. I'll look into your suggestion of using "Flock", I just don't like downloading software on my boxes.

Question: On your last line, did you mean to suggest photobucket and someone other than imageshack? I do like photobucket as it looks s though it has less malware, etc even though I'm pretty protected...Knock on wood.
