So at first I didn't finalize what I did and it wouldn't play. So then I finalized it and now it won't play on my computer nor on the dvd recorder? What is wrong? |

I think the Memorex DVD+Rs have had issues with just about every burner. I could not use them in my DVD recorder because the first six blank discs acted as if they had something on them and then the "baddisc" showed up on the recorder display. I am only using them as data DVDs and computer generated video DVDs and AVCHDs. I use Verbatim in the recorder, as I have had more success with them. |

Hmm. When I put it back into the recorder, it said that they were incompatible. They seemed to record just fine. Also I'm sure I've used them in the past as well but maybe I didn't. R- worked well. Great. Now I have all of this stuff and I can't put them onto the computer to upload them.

I run into the same problem with my DVD recorder that is hooked up to the TV. My fix is that I shut down the DVD recorder and then turn it back on and PRESTO!, it is no longer incompatible. I hope you guys haven't been tossing those discs away on the first error message? BTW.. my DVD recorder is 6 years old and I wonder if it shows its age at times. |

I'll try that out. I noticed that before that I would have this or that problem and it would say that I had nothing on the disk. Like it would say an hour left for the highest quality mark. But then I would go to the computer put it in and there the stuff is. Machines. Sometimes they drive you nuts. Also I've been using a cleaner cloth too. Maybe that is getting dirty. I think I'll get a new dvd cleaning thing anyway. It's been more than 12 cycles or so. |
