My Hauppauge HD-PVR auto detects the Input Resolution as 720 x 480. There seems to be no option to change that What can I do so my HD PVR captures at a higher resolution? |

I don't have one but you should read the manual http://hauppauge.lightpath.net/manuals/qi-hdpvr.pdf You have to connect in the back Green-Blue-Red for video and Red and White for audio where it says inputs on the second row I took screen shots for you

finally got it to work. Time Warner dvr boxes don't allow HDMI and component outputs at the same time. So I had to unplug the HDMI cable from my dvr and now everything works fine. |
